Hi, I am Neda Anvari.
I’m a Product Designer on a mission to declutter the digital world! I bring Occam’s Razor to every project—keeping things as simple as possible without losing meaning. I believe the simplest solution often sparks the most joy!
Map Labs

Khan Academy
State Standards Mapping
There was a risk of losing current and future teachers, districts, and independent learners in non-Common Core states if we didn’t:
(a) create and collate more content aligned to individual state standards and
(b) make clear to district admins and teachers how our content aligns to their standards and make it easy for them to access standards-aligned content.
Linguini
English language teaching made sustainable.
Linguini is an iOS app that helps reduce the amount of time EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teachers spend preparing activities outside of their paid hours. It provides users with the capability to administer pre-created activities to groups or individuals.
TripGPT
TripGPT is your AI-powered travel buddy!
I co-founded TripGPT, an AI-powered travel web app that creates custom itineraries for travelers worldwide.
Turn Two Coaching

A responsive website for both existing and prospective clients to learn more about Karen White & leadership coaching. The website also provides users with the ability to book coaching sessions.
Doctors Without Borders
Donate & track your donations using the mobile app.
The iOS mobile app informs donors how the donations are distributed & provides them with the option to donate using the mobile app. This solution encourages users to trust Doctors Without Borders, & as a result, feel more encouraged to donate.
Patients First
A digital possibility to gap patient & healthcare language barriers.
Booking medical appointments with a translator just got easier—the Patients First task flow connects Limited English Language Proficiency Patients (LELPPs), translators and medical professionals during appointments. The iOS app helps LELPPs to feel confident about understanding their medical appointments.
About:
Thanks for dropping by and choosing to learn a bit about me.
Currently I am a Product Designer at Map Labs and the Co-Founder of TripGPT. Previously I worked at Khan Academy as an International Content Program Manager.
I strive to design holistically, ensuring that the designs I work on are accessible and built to support international audiences. Interested in future-proof designs? Let’s talk!

Listen and learn:
I believe that the finest designs emerge from embracing diverse viewpoints, including those of users, product experts, and engineers. My role is to synthesize these insights, guiding us towards creating the most optimal user experience.
Communicate early and often:
I find that engaging in regular communication with all internal stakeholders, including engineering, from the discovery phase not only accelerates the process but also ensures a clear understanding of design constraints early on.
Be kind:
Given the considerable time we spend at work, it's crucial to make it enjoyable. Cultivating a culture of mutual support and kindness leads to happier teams, which I believe are instrumental in collaborating effectively to deliver outstanding products.
All questions are welcome:
I firmly believe that all questions are valuable, and it's perfectly fine to ask them repeatedly. If we cross paths, feel free to inquire as much and as often as needed - I'm always happy to answer your questions if I can.

Life long learner:
I have a bucket list of random classes I want to take and am hoping to slowly work through those. I believe that learning new things generally helps add to the way we think, solution, and see the world.
Backgammon guru:
Most of my family are backgammon players, so naturally, I started to learn how to play when I was 5 or 6. Nowadays, I catch an online backgammon game when I can.
Predictor of show plots:
As a designer it’s no surprise that I love the art of storytelling and therefore I love television! In fact, as the story is unravelling on TV, I like to try and pay attention to the foreshadowing so I can piece together the plot before it happens, it makes me feel like a detective!
